recently...

The last few weeks have been crazy for sure. Winter quarter only has 3 weeks left. Which means I only have 3 weeks left at Nativity House. You would think I would be thrilled! Yay, I survived 9 months of working basically full-time with a 15 hour/week practicum, and school on top of that. However, I am kind of sad. I am going to miss lots of the guests I have gotten to know. I feel like I have a place there and am important to people.

What am I going to do with my Saturdays, you ask?! Well, I am taking a Saturday class-- it is only 4 Saturdays during the quarter. I just didn't get enough of doing things on my weekends... haha! It is actually working out well with my work schedule and my other class (Thursday nights).

Today Tracy and Barb and I drove to Olympia and met Mom for lunch. It was fun to see her and catch up and have a lovely birthday lunch. Today at church I was confirmed as a member, so now I am an official member of Manitou Park Presbyterian. It feels good to be a real member of a church, and have a place I am calling my church home, after so long.

On Thursday I am going to Oregon for the CHA Regional Conference. I am going with some co-workers, a fun little road trip. It is in Silverton OR, at Canyonview Equestrian Center. It should be fun, and maybe kind of a little vacation (well, sort of...)

I really am going to try and get more regular with my postings. I promise!
